Gopal OUT in race for chairman

Proving that there is a God, er...holy cow, Buddha, or whatever - Gopal Krishna, in his own words, is officially OUT as candidate for Republican State Chairman.

Whew.  Thank goodness.

He made the statement in a letter to our good buddy Steve Deace.

We think it's funny that he states he is assuredly NOT running, but then says, "If I were a candidate" and lists a detailed account of what he would do as chairman.

Thanks, but no thanks.

Of course, he uses his old stand-by joke that his name begins with "G-O-P."  Please.

So, we have the six individuals at the forum last Saturday.  A good bunch of folks - all have their positives and would bring strengths to the party as chairmen.

To the SCC Members: If you have not read one of yours comments on what really he thinks of you I advise you do so before you vote for a Treasurer on Saturday.

To quote a couple of his observations:
“Having not received any formal training on how to bring order to a kindergarten class and having realized that the Republican State Central Committee lacks maturity of mind and strength in spine, I decided not to seek the position of the Party Chair. “
“Third, the Chair, once elected, be permitted to devote entire time to do the Party work than baby sit the State Central Committee members”

This is the man that was supported and pushed to be our next chair- that was given the post of SCC Treasurer on his first meeting back. This is a strong leader ready to work with his committee and unite the party? This is a man we want in charge of our checkbook? Certainly not someone you want to disagree with if you have an expense check coming.
Is it any wonder that someone that harbors such anger and holds his colleagues in such low regard was removed 8 years ago? Does it show any credibility to the events that led up to his removal from being a National Delegate this last State Convention?

He also states “Lastly, even though my first name starts with the letters G-O-P, whenever I serve as Chair, it will not be because I want something “ WHENEVER? Deja vu from 8years ago when he vowed he would be Chair someday. Hopefully we have shown that position can not be bought or bargained away in backroom deals any longer.

Perhaps the biggest question is though where does the man behind this candidate and our disgraced National Committee Woman have to say now less than six months after his wholehearted support for both of them?

Gopal..just how stupid do you really think your fellow SCC members are?? Do you think they're going to idly stand by and allow you to insult them?

Gopal..honestly..I wish we had MORE people on the SCC like Dave Chung, Isiah McGee, Jason Hutcheson, Reid Houser and John Ortega... I could go on and on..

Hell, Gopal, 80% of the SCC has more integrity than in their little finger than you do in your entire beady eyed little body.

Gopal.. do us a favor..show a shred of honor and decency and RESIGN. I doubt you will though..because you have no honor or dignity, sir.

    another Gopal interview yesterday -

Seems this man wants the SCC to relive 2000 and vote on his dismissal - TO go public with such rants against his peers should be enough to get him kisked off again, censured or at least voted out as Treasurer-
The Real Cancer in RPI is obvious and those that have promoted and backed such characters should also be held accountable in the future
