Yesterday, we told you about why the Democrats were going to call a special session - purely political.

Today, it's Gronstal's turn to beat the special session drum, saying the state would borrow funds - even though we don't know what the hell for.  No matter, it got him banner headlines in the DMR Metro Section.  Mission accomplished.

Now - in a Krusty exclusive - that crazy, stupid dingbat Senator Wally Horn says we need to "Help the Democrats!  Help the Democrats!"

Flyover Country hands it to Wally - at least he's being honest.  What's driving this comes straight from the top - Gronstal and McCarthy's politicization of the flood, and Culver's endless drive for relevancy.

We here in Flyover Country are going to start a running tally of days the special session is brought up by Democrats in their effort to politicize the floods.  Flyover Fav WQAD begins the countdown with the inaugural mention on June 11.
